HOPES and DREAMS Foundation of Oklahoma

HOPES and DREAMS Foundation of Oklahoma is a non-profit, volunteer organization which was founded to inspire children who have terminal illnesses, life-threatening medical conditions, or are physically challenged. The main goal of HOPES and DREAMS is to enrich the lives of the children in our foundation by sending them, as often as possible to events in the State of Oklahoma. These events are choosen for our children by our children! HOPES and DREAMS works hard to get tickets, passes, autographed pictures, and personal contacts for our children.

HOPES and DREAMS is a new foundation, founded in 1996, (we are a 501C 3). The foundation was started because of the inspiration of a very special teenage boy named Tye. Tye expressed his concern about many of the children at the hospital that didn't really have a lot to look forward to in their future. One of the real factor is that, many families that have a sick child, didn't have the extra money to take the child and family out to events. Executive Director Gigi Normand and Tye sat down and wrote the plans for a foundation for the children and named it HOPES and DREAMS. Tye went to be with our Lord on June 24,1996 with Executive Director Gigi Normand holding his hand.

We are very close to our children in our foundation, and we do take the time to try to fulfill their request.HOPES and DREAM is working hard to expand all over the State of Oklahoma. We are lucky to have:

Oklahoma's own Billy Griffin to hit the airwaves soon.

THE 1999 APPRECIATION AWARD has been given to Oklahoma Own!!! Rudy Lacy and Highway 51 of Stillwater Oklahoma... Rudy Lacy and the Band Members of Highway 51, David Wright, Shelbi Williams, Vicki Hillhouse and Randy Burch have a heart of gold and are Number One on the list of the HOPES and DREAMS Foundation!!! Country Singer, Wade Hayes was given our Appreciation Award for 1997. Wade has been a one in a million!!!! It is always so wonderful to take our children to meet with Wade, he really goes out of his way with the children!
